AI is everywhere these days – Adopting AI in HR is speeding up processes and create more time for the truly human side of the Work. It enables HR units to improve productivity and efficiency to meet core objectives.

The concept of Artificial Intelligence (AI) has been buzzing across the globe for decades. However, it was in the last few years, with the help of successful Machine Learning applications, AI has enabled the boom by giving the machine the ability to perform cognitive functions related to the human mind. AI has extensive use from Siri for voice conversion to IBM Watson's autonomous weaponry.

In current times, AI has initiated to infiltrate board rooms by engaging the large workforce. This approach helps employees manage their time efficiently by adding strategic value to their business. AI includes a range of capabilities which can solve multiple business problems as it holds the potential to make a tectonic shift in varied industries with full-scale Automation and augmenting human capabilities by scaling up in efficiency & productivity.

Human Resources is one of the core functioning units of any organization. The adoption of AI can rapidly transform the HR units for both short-term and long-term benefits. A vast number of startups is providing AI-based technology and services to HR units for different activities. Some of the key ways AI can play a significant role in HR units as given below:

New hires typically want to meet people and acquire information which they usually may not know where to go. All they can do is ask their desk neighbor; but what if they too work in a different department?

IBM is looking forward to creating a system that will be able to answer most pressing and job-critical questions for a new employee to help get them up to speed fast. Artificial Intelligence can this provide training suggestions, contains the names, locations or contact info for people they look for connecting on their day one or so.
