This Privacy Policy explains how 7wData (KLYM bv, the “Operator”) collects, uses, and protects personal data when you visit 7wdata.be (the “Site”) and related services. We operate under EU General Data Protection Regulation (Regulation 2016/679, “GDPR”) and Belgian data protection law.

2. What data we collect
- Newsletter sign-up: email address, IP address, timestamp. Legal basis: consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).
- Contact form: name, email, message contents. Legal basis: pre-contractual necessity / consent (Art. 6(1)(b)/(a)).
- Server logs: IP address, user agent, requested URL, timestamp. Retained max 30 days. Legal basis: legitimate interest in site security (Art. 6(1)(f)).
- Analytics (if enabled): aggregated visit data, anonymised IP. Loaded only after cookie consent. Legal basis: consent.
3. Cookies

4. Third-party processors
- Cloudways (hosting, EU servers) — receives all request data.
- Newsletter platform: Beehiiv — receives your email if you subscribe.
- YouTube embeds: when you play an embedded video, YouTube (Google LLC) may set cookies. We use the privacy-enhanced mode where possible.
- ins7ghts.com — if you click through to our AI product, the destination has its own Privacy Policy.
5. Your rights under GDPR
You have the right to: access your data, request rectification, request erasure (“right to be forgotten”), restrict processing, data portability, and object to processing. You may also lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority (Autorité de protection des données / Gegevensbeschermingsautoriteit).

6. Data retention
We retain personal data only as long as necessary for the stated purpose, or as required by law. Newsletter subscriber data is retained until you unsubscribe. Contact-form messages are retained for 24 months unless a longer commercial relationship is established. Server logs: 30 days maximum.
7. Data security
We use TLS encryption for all site traffic, HTTPS-only cookies, server-level firewalls, and an application firewall (Wordfence). Access to personal data is restricted to authorised operators.
8. International transfers
Our primary infrastructure is hosted within the EU. Some third-party processors (e.g. newsletter, embeds) may transfer data to the United States under Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) or under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the latest revision. Material changes will be communicated via the Site or newsletter.
